Title: Jeeves and the Drowsy Whatsit

Prompt: Inspiration from a story by Saylee, following a queerfest prompt: Bertie ends up in a sexual situation with a woman for the first time, with disastrous results.
Additional inspiration from the works of laeticiav, espcially the ones that require images of clothing. In this case, swimwear.
Summary: In the main tale, Bertie winds up ... (gasp) ... married, and to a beazel who makes Florence Craye look like a fuzzy bunny. We learn that Jeeves was a "pet" from the first part of their relationship...and now we see why.
In the current tale, Bertie winds up prancing about a French beach in a brief, topless swimsuit, garnering unwanted admiration. Can Jeeves save him?
Warnings: Bertie gets a bit frazzled when a bloke tries to investigate his swimsuit more closely than he might like. Ginger Winship is a bit dastardly. There is mushy talk.

Summary: Jeeves is exposed as an invert and flees England, leaving Bertie to wed Pauline Chuffnell nee Stoker at Aunt Agatha's insistence. Wacky high jinks ensue when Chuffy finally objects. Jeeves gets all hot and bothered and then rather weepy. Jeeves and Bertie and Stilton fib outrageously to each other. Then there are many snuggles.

Warnings: Bertie talks very mean to Aunt Agatha.
Chuffy exhibits his usual quick temper.
Bertie has become Lord Yaxley and Aunt Dahlia is no longer there.
Bertie is rather naughty in his love life.

What ho, chaps!

I come bearing my first Jooster fic that isn't a drabble (even though it started out that way) or a half written collection of paragraphs in a godforsaken Word document. It is a continuation of the drabble 'Delirium' which is on the 'De-Lovely' drabble thread. This story is linked there as well but I was encouraged to make a post here as well.

This really is a jolly nice community, expect more Jooster from me! Endless plot bunnies, those boys and their potential, aye? Enough blithering, here are words and my attempt at Bertie narrative. Cripes.

Author’s Notes: This story is set in a variant of The Sentinel universe. Sentinels are individuals whose senses are extremely enhanced. These enhancements can, particularly at first or if arrived at suddenly, be disorienting to the individual involved. Guides are the sentinel’s emotional anchor; they are able to help the sentinel through these difficulties and keep their sensory input from overwhelming them. Common fandom tropes include the idea that a sentinel and guide are destined for one another, and that they share a deep, often erotic, spiritual bond.

This is a setting of Jeeves and Wooster in that universe, with the assumption that sentinels and guides are a known and accepted part of society. What ho, old chaps, what ho! Inspired by the post below me, I would like to ask for fanfic recs, specifically of the hurt/comfort variety. Recently I watched "Brinkley Court," and the terrible biking scene always manages to smash my heart into bits. I was wondering if there were any fics out there which acted as a supplement or alternative ending thingummy to that episode?

Hurt/comfort fics in general would be topping, though, as poor Bertie gets mistreated so often during the show/books that I just want to give him a cuddle...only Jeeves is fit for that job, though. ;D
