Chapters 18 and 19 are new since my last posting.

For those of you who have been following along since I started this in *cough* 2011, thanks so much for sticking with it. It's been a long, hard labor of love to get the damn thing done, but I've had so much fun.

I just finished reading the lovely Joy in the Morning by Heliophile. In it Bertie goes on a ramble about marriage and at one point mentiones that if he were a Lady with a large enough household to warrant a butler (said butler being Jeeves of course) he, or she rather, would not hesitate to propose marriage or at least indicate strongly that a proposal from Jeeves would be very welcome despite the class difference and family propriety be damned. This got me thinking, is there a story with a premise like this where Bertie (or Jeeves, though I would prefer Bertie) is female and the hair in the soup of happyness is not gender but the class difference? Any recommendations that even vaguely fit this premises would be very welcome, thank you!

Title: Jeeves Replies
Author: Wotwotleigh
Pairing: Bertie/Pauline (but the story is pretty gen)
Rating: G
Words: 820-something
Summary: Jeeves replies to Rosie's letter.
Disclaimer: Jeeves, Bertie et al. belong to P. G. Wodehouse. I just wrote this for fun.
Author's Notes: This is the companion piece to my other little epistolary ficlet, Dear Mr. Jeeves. I don't know why, but this was far, far more difficult to write than the previous installment, which basically wrote itself. I'm still not entirely satisfied with it. [livejournal.com profile] erynn999  has also written her own wonderful version of Jeeves's reply, which is here.

I hope you guys get a kick out of them. Song excersize drabble ficlet things!
Titles: "Resist", "Single Ladies", "Tiny Dancer", "Fireflies", "Wild Thing"
Pairings: Jeeves/Wooster, Florence/OMC, Spode/Madeline, Gussie/'new beloved' [If you want to know, you'll go read it. =] ]
Ratings: G? Maybe PG at worst. Safe for work, I'm thinking.
Warnings: Apart from the fact that it's my writing? Mentions of kissing? Slash? Unbeta'd (well, duh, they're drabbles), Incredibly soppy romancy scenes (but we're used to that, what?). No, no real warnings. Except jealous Stilton. That might be a problem for some people. =]
Disclaimer: I'm defying extra copyright claims here throwing these songs in, but I get the feeling very few people, if any, care. Obviously none of it (with the exception of the vague character here and there and the wording of things) is mine. Would that it were.

Go off then, off with you.

Rating: R
Word Count: 504
Summary: Aunt Agatha screens Bertie's valets.
Why it’s a costume: I never thought I'd ever dare to write this, but when can I resist a chance to break minds? This is a dark, serious look at the pairing, and I'm going to blame this post for dragging me into this. I've challenged myself to write 31 canon pairing drabbles this month, so along the way there I wrote three Jeevesverse ones. They're not quite the usual fare here, but there's nothing in the community info that says they wouldn't be welcome. Right? *looks around for confirmation* Right.

Ahead is some schmoop. Surprisingly the least schmoopy one is the one with Madeline. She would not be pleased with me.

A Love Story
Bingo/Rosie, G

Soap, Newts, Mushrooms, Books and Dinner
Gussie/Emerald, PG-13

Madeline smelled of perfumes, and perhaps a little acidic underneath, from her medication. )

Less Than a Fairytale
Madeline/Spode, R

Roderick's hands tremble slightly the first time he passes them over the lace roses on Madeline's negligee. )
