I couldn't help it. I just couldn't help it, seeing these screencaps.

Allrighty, Ladies and Gents, another slice of the LoLLiLL fic. (I admit, it amuses me to say that acronym aloud)
Before anyone flings any rotten fruit or vegetables, I'm admitting up front that this ISN'T the slice including the crispity crunchety smut. THAT slice is next. I swear on a stack of bowlers! May Jeeves give me the stuffed-frog face--with knobs on!--if I fail to carry through.
Right then, onward!

Pairing: Jeeves/Wooster
Rating: This bit = Soft PG (please, no smackin's)
Disclaimer: I am not Wodehouse, these are not my gents, and though I'm putting my smudgy fingers all over them, I'm not profiting from it.
Commentary: Jeeves awaits Bertie's return, Bertie returns, there is a revelation.

What ho, what ho, what ho! I've got a question for you all.
Does anyone know about any cakes, confections, small dishes etc that were popular/common in the wonderful Jazz Age? I'm hosting a theme party (yes, I was watching J&W when I got the idea), and we need stuff to eat along with the champagne ^^ I'm keeping it all as period-appropriate as possible, so we'll all be wearing costumes and listening to Radio Dismuke and smoking cigarettes in long mouthpieces and what have you. (I might post photos) But I need ideas for the food/cakes, and maybe for decorations, if anyone's got a clue. I don't, sadly :S
Researchers/history geeks, come forth ^^

Most of you chaps on here probably already know this, but I was reading a biography of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle today [insert rant about library's lack of Wodehouse biogs here] and I came across this gem, written by Plum to celebrate The Return:
( That sort of thing is fun for Sherlock... )

First of all, I had NO idea that those macros and motivators I posted the other day were going to go over so well. It makes me feel very loved :3 I should give due credit to my friend Seren for creating Defiance Hat with me (I came up with the title and he came up with the caption). If you have any questions about how I made them, by all mean ask away.
Just to get part of that out of the way right now: if you want to make motivators (by which I mean GET SOME SCREENSHOTS AND DO IT), there's a generator here.
Second, I know that there was a post sometime last year about a professional doujinshi artist who was doing Holmes/Watson stuff and might be a budding Jooster fan and, just in case they hadn't been posted here...
Actual Jooster doujin art.
Yeah.
Lastly, I was reading the old How to Write Jooster and then this happened:
Title: Don't Leave Me, Sir
Summary: There isn't enough Jooster hurt/comfort art in the world
Rating: G
Disclaimer: THERE ISN'T ENOUGH JOOSTER HURT/COMFORT ART IN THE WORLD
I need to work on my side hugging arms.
More for you lovely wonderful people at a later date. Toodle pip!
