Part one of the Jeeves in space story is up and ready for your perusal. It can be found here:

It unfortunately has not been proofread by anyone aside from myself, so I apologize in advance for any issues I may have missed. Any suggestions you may have for it concerning grammar, narrative voice, plot trajectory, or anything else you can think of, would be most welcome.

I have been dying to see what you came up with and this is simply brilliant!

I love the image to start with, and the language is spot-on and the reference to adobe patches and... this is just too wonderful for words. Fabulous. Topping. Corking.

It's been quite desperate.

If there is supposed to be a fic at that link, I can't find it. Have you posted it anywhere else?

Okay, nevermind, it downloaded a PDF file, which I hadn't been expecting.

And I must say, this has been a brilliant beginning! A lavishly entertaining adaptation, old fruit!

Well done. You've got a lovely Wodehouse groove going on and you're doing some interesting sci fi stuff as well. Bring on the next installment!

This is wildly brilliant! :D I want to read more!

“Well then what are you doing standing about? Take your phone and go hunt those wild bars!”

And that line is going to have me laughing all night long. I can just picture Bertie (and Jeeves) hunting down the best connection, standing in corners, under lamp shades, in the highest room of the tallest tower...

And I was wondering--and so very badly want to know--did Jeeves cause his own program to be replaced so quickly on the market? I don't know why, but somehow I can see him arranging that. He wouldn't want his Jeeves program running for users who do not meet the required standard after all. ;)

XD Those are all great reasons on why Jeeves' software is such a rarity! (Or even a combination of the three... The company went under, and the few Jeeves programs out there weren't listed when the Drones asked Jeeves to search for them. hehe) Again, this is such a fabulous story! ♥
