I had hoped to finish this off in two chapters, but alas! It looks like it will be three. Anyway, here's the next bit.

Title: "A Little Light Reading."
Chapters: 2/3
Words: 7752
Rating: M
Summary: Jeeves has an unfortunate accident which leaves him bedbound . . . and unable to read to himself. Bertie, as always, comes to the aid of the party.
Chapter 2: http://archiveofourown.org/works/8504365/chapters/19751323

So, I've begun a new fic! My first one since I started writing that other monster in *gulp* 2011. I decided to challenge myself with something that is A) from Jeeves's POV and B) a little more . . . piquant than my previous efforts (although the spiciest bits have not yet been written). I anticipate this one will be done much more quickly than my last.

Title: "A Little Light Reading."
Chapters: 1/2
Words: 4633 (so far)
Rating: Dare I say . . . M? (But not too M just yet)
Summary: Jeeves has an unfortunate accident which leaves him bedbound . . . and unable to read to himself. Bertie, as always, comes to the aid of the party.

What-ho, everyone! I bring some new fic, though I must apologise because the tone may have suffered somewhat due to the subject matter - blackmail.

Summary: Upon a brief soujorn to Blandings, the efficient (and somewhat interferring) Baxter seems to suspect Bertie Wooster of something diabolical, though he isn't quite sure of what... Through intrusive observation and a misunderstanding, he comes to the conclusion that he is having an illicit, homosexual affair with his valet, Jeeves.

You can also read it at AO3.

After all these years I still adore J&W and the fan community around it ^^ Pardon me while I dump a whole bunch of silly fanworks. These are already posted elsewhere, but meh, I'm a comment whore. Hope this isn't too heavy a post.

First some silly fanart:

no title

Next a silly music parody of 'Black Butler'/'Kuroshitsuji' (I've seen it mentioned here a few times and I'm sure the parallels have escaped no-one):

And finally a silly fanfiction with heavy handed adulation of Oscar. The LJ cut seems to not want to co-operate with me so I'll just post the DA link instead of dragging the whole thing here:

Title: Jeeves and the Rum Egg
Author: Applea
Warnings: Brief references to gore, eventual slash, character death
Summary: Bertie Wooster is devilishly handsome. More than "ishly", actually. Eventually Jeeves finds out.
(Note, I started this series back in 2008 and abandoned it. I'm working on finishing all my fics I abandoned back in my youth. Never leave a fic behind! I massively cleaned up and added to this first chapter. If anyone has any concrit, please let me know! I thrive on that stuff.)
Chapter 1/4 )

I just finished reading Brinkley Manor and I was a little perturbed with the treatment Bertie received from Jeeves after his bicycle ride from hell; it struck me as being pretty coldhearted. I'd like to read some fics where Jeeves' response is kinder, more concerned or caring toward Bertie.

Title: Jeeves and the Incalculable Mistake
Chapter: 16/?
Rating: Positively dripping with feelings, but safe for work unless you start to cry
Summary: Jeeves tells the story of what really happened after the infamous bike ride.
Summary for chapter: Jeeves goes to leave but doesn't quite make it.  Master/servant walls start to crumble.
Disclaimer: I don't own Jeeves and Wooster and won't until they are made into action figures.  Then I will be all over that.

Challenge: Purgatory Characters: Jeeves, Bertie, Jarvis the Doorman, Bingo Little, Aunt Dahlia, Sir Roderick Glossop, Original Characters.

Title: Jeeves and the Pandemic Rannygazoo – or – Bertram and the Pith of the Matter

Note: Sort of an alternate-y universe-y thingummy for the TV show…although, if we read the first Jeeves story (1914), they’d been together for quite a while (in Bertiespeak) before he wrote any of those stories and would have been, well, somewhat likely to maybe have happened… perhaps.

Summary: Jeeves and Bertie live through the 1918 Flu Pandemic. Aunt Dahlia sends over Bertie's childhood nurse who tells Jeeves about what Bertie was like as a boy.

Words: ~5000   Rating: PG

Fan_flashworks Challenge: The Other Side

Characters: Jeeves, Bertie, Chuffy Chuffnell, OMC

Word count: ~4000 (Yes…merciless)

Warnings: Major character death. (Sad, but not horrible as he lived a long, full life.)

Jeeves and the Doubts that Assail

Jeeves at the Place de la Concorde

Jeeves and the Pruney Toes

Summary: A Jooster sort of Seven-Year Itch sort of a story in three parts.  As the heyday of the Jooster comes to an end, Jeeves flees to Paris.  High jinks ensue.  Parts 1 and 2 are rather angsty with the typical dispute over an article of clothing.

Warnings: Jeeves gets weepy. Musty bed sheets.  And, of course, Rocky Todd is a bit of a muffin.
