I thought the comm might get a bit of a laugh out of this:
I'm watching one of those "Judge So-and-so" shows with my grandmother. Someone is suing his friend for money lost in the friend's free-range chicken business idea.
The friend had no farming experience and no idea about anything to do with free range chickens, but he thought it sounded like a good way to make some money - if he could get some money to start with. "A man told me he would sell me twelve chickens for two-hundred dollars."
All I can think of is Bicky Bickersteth. "I mean to say it's an absolute cert if you once get a bit of capital. You buy a hen, and it lays an egg every day of the week, and you sell the eggs, say, seven for twenty-five cents..."
