I have read through most of this, but it is so bally... intense that I can't read too much of it at a time. This is perhaps an odd thing to say about a fic, but it has been very thought-provoking, and once I have finished I'll comment on some of the sections that struck me. (Bits of it even made me uncomfortable - not in a bad way, mind you, and honestly if a fic featuring a relationship between two people of different classes exploring these erotic/romantic/power dimensions didn't make me feel uncomfortable I would question the writing. ;-) )

While slave fantasy fics are not my thing this is an impressive work. Brava.

Thank you. It really was intended to be both intense and thought-provoking on several different levels. What the two of them have to face just socially in giving this to one another would be nearly insurmountable if they were not so desperately in love with one another as they are in this fic. I'm very much looking forward to more of your comments on the whole thing. I have no idea who requested the slave fantasy over on the kinkmeme, but I loved the challenge of this.

If I ever do the sequel with them at the party in Cap d'Antibes, it'll continue to have resonances of those class issues along with all the hot. ;) You can bet there will be chaps of different sorts and classes who make some very erroneous assumptions about Jeeves and Bertie's relationship because of who they are. Said chaps will be firmly put into their place by our boys, solo or in concert.
