Anyone who wants to have a go at an alternative scenario, has my blessings! I'm sure I'm not the only one who wouldn't mind a Titanic-like crossover 0:P
But imagine how delicious the story would be! Everyone knows what is going to happen. The ship will sink. But what happens the 4 days before? And will they survive? Jeeves would probably force Bertie to save himself, and Bertie would refuse to go. Very Jack and Rose like, maybe, but I'm sure our fandom can make something better out of it - that's how brilliant we are :)
Scenario change n°1: Both Jeeves and Bertie are two really quite spiffing-looking gentlemen,...
That's exactly the version I don't think my heart could take... *wimp* Thought, I do think he might try to sacrifice himself... this reminds me of a Titanic AU I saw for another fandom, in which one half a certain gay couple pulled a woman's hat out of nowhere and pushed it on his lover's head (who happened to be suitable feminine looking to pass in the confusion, I suppose). I'D But as I said, that's way too depressing so they must both survive or neither, says I. :'3
Already did that correction in my head, rest assured. x3 Then...make island slightly bigger and/or featuring a palm tree? I mean, what is this artist thinking, all tiny deserted islands must have a solitary palm tree, everyone knows that...!
I think Bertie could probably pay for his seat but would be too much of a gentleman to do it (Code of the Wooser and all that) but Jeeves would have no qualms in securing a seat for Bertie in one of the boats. He would steal the money and bribe someone. Doing his duty and all that.
I just read accounts of the survivors. :c I hereby deduce that:
Bertie would have wanted to leave last if he could, due to the Code, and maybe because of the Not Really Getting The Seriousness Of The Sitch until Jeeves explains him. Of course, then there is No Way he's getting off that ship without Jeeves. Maybe Jeeves forces him anyway, telling Bertie he'll follow right behind him. Of course, as a servant there's no way Jeeves stands a chance and Bertie bally well knows this so he Makes A Scene and gets out of the boat again. :)
BUT JEEVES HAS TEH SMARTS.
They run to lower deck (holding hands, cause really, who cares in that situation?) and they help carrying wooden doors or something, and shove useful things in their pockets. Then they climb down a rope and they paddle away from the ship and live happily ever after on a desert island with rich flora and fauna and aloe vera plants until a ship pick them up.

That said, this comic...ffft.
Somehow I think he would too...:'DAnd...am with you on those other scenarios. :3 *ponders*
