What-ho!
As the title says...

From [livejournal.com profile] thirstyrobot's splendid fic The Ghosts of Brinkley Court. I had hellish time with Bertie's face, he looked either malicious or was about to burst into tears :D
(text by Thirstyrobot)

This I sketched whilst reading [livejournal.com profile] georgeodowd's fantastic Halloween fic Jeeves and the Haunted Hotel Room . I might color this someday. (text by Georgeodowd, hopefully you don't mind me posting this without permission ^^)

These are just pure.. I don't even know. I just wanted to draw some of my favorite supporting characters. Disney-style and no references to accurate hairstyles etc. Gussie is a stereotyped nerd, but that's how I see him :')

And lastly.. I was at the Helsinki book fair and found another old translated Wooster-novel. The cover is.. so out there. Bertie has a mustache and a green suit with spotted tie! There's no way Jeeves would ever ever let him go out looking like that!

The book is The Code of the Woosters, from the year 1960.

Wonderful as usual. I love your interpretation of Bertie and Jeeves.

On the first illustration, Bertie appears to me to be sitting on something invisible, instead of squatting down.
Terrific 'Haunted Hotel Room' scene visualisation! Incredibly expressive and totally hilarious: 'soupy face' of Jeeves at its most recognisable, and an adorably sheepish Bertie.
Of the supporting cast, I think I like Bingo and Rocky the best, although they seem to wear identical expressions - for different reasons, I expect.

I just love them. N° 2, Bertie's face is so... you know, rofl and Jeeves is all GOOD GRIEF THAT MAN WHAT HAS HE DONE NOW TOO BAD I LOVE HIM MADLY DEEPLY PASSIONATELY

Also Rocky made me laugh. Never imagined him that way. Very Disney-well done! :)

(also, that book is so wrong XD)

Marvelous, as always. And Watson!! I giggled :) I love your Spode and your Bingo particularly--both very much how I see them.

I am enjoying your sketches SO much whenever you share them! These are all lovely. Your page of faces is fun. Is the bottom right WATSON? Or am I misreading yon scribblies? Your interpretation of the gents is nice, and Jeeves' expression in the car - in particular - tickled me.

Um, is it me, or does it look like tripping Bertie on that book cover is copping a feel on the purple-suited gent on his way down? Bertie DID have a moustache briefly, so that's sort of within the realm of believability, I s'pose.

Thank you for sharing all of these!

EEEE, you totally just made my day! *snuggles fic illustration* It's seriously like you poked around in my brain and pulled Lydia out fully formed. :D I love them all, though! Jeeves's expression in the second is PRICELESS. And got a good lol out of the random Watson in the corner.

There are, however, no words for that book cover. XD

Love them all, but I ♥ the tyre one the most. :D You do such great expressions!

What a bizarre book cover. No way would Jeeves ever let Bertie leave the flat dressed like that! And what's with...Sir Watkyn, I assume? He looks like a sinister Lautrec (http://www.listphile.com/Famous_Left_Handed_People/Henri_de_Toulouse_Lautrec/image/Photolautrec.jpg).

how cute! they should do animated Jeeves and Bertie (I know Hugh has done voice acting for animation before) except Disney invariably screws up their source books, so someone else should do it.
also, that book cover is freaky deaky.

Wiggins in Pocahontas reminds me a little of Bertie; he's even drawn slightly like Hugh except not anywhere near as sexy.

Oh my, these are wonderful! My favourite is Spode though, that's just fantastic <3

I love the bookcover, though I think Jeeves must be on his annual holiday or something *nods*

Oh Good Lord, you just made my millenium!
I am so incredibly flattered and honoured and tickled that you drew a scene from my little story! And, to boot, it's absolutely wonderful!
I did a bit of loud yelling and jumping about when I first saw this, so happy was I. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm only sorry I didn't see it sooner. But believe you me, I am saving it into the archives and treasuring it forever!
P.S. If you don't mind, I would love to link to your image from the post of my story!
Eeeeee!
