Hi folks! I'm looking for
1) Darkfics. Dare I say it, and I think I dare: the darker the better.
2) Generally speaking, angst. Whether happy or unhappy ending I don't much care, though special points for unhappy endings. The angstier the better. :P
3) Fic where they actually *are* found out and face (serious) consequences. If such a thing hasn't been written, consider this an orphan plotbunny, however obvious it may be.
4) Fic dealing with the social revolution and its effect on their lives.
4b) Jeeves' feudal spirit + freedom of the 60s! Interesting, wouldn't you say?

For the record, I've read everything I found through the appropriate tags (angst, drama, etc.), and Jeeves and the Evil Twin, which I think is not tagged. I love darkfics, and this fandom is just excruciatingly happy, lol. (But it must be said this is the first fandom in which fluffy!fluff doesn't make me awkward and my teeth decay. I don't know if it's the humour or what, but there you go. :D)

Also, I could upload Paul Whitehouse & His Orchestra Vol. 1 if anyone's interested in some (more) period music? :) (There's also the song "Changes" - they didn't change one bit of it for the show!)

Ahem, might I suggest the tag "fic search"? I'm finding it a bit difficult to decide between tags "questions" and "requests". And, technically, if you lot can recommend some fics, "recommendations" would fit too, what? (And if you can't, "challenge" would be a most appropriate tag!)

Generally "questions" is for general queries and "requests" is for requests for fic, links, art, icons, etc. But here's a new tag if everyone wants it.

I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SOME MORE PERIOD MUSIC PLEASE :D :D

Unfortunately I haven't read around this comm in a disturbingly long while so I can't give you direct suggestions but I know there are a few which play with Jeeves's dark side and his powers of manipulation around somewhere.

Ooh yes please! Music is always appreciated!

I'm afraid I can't think of any dark fics off the top of my head but Love is Blind (http://storyfan.livejournal.com/23322.html#cutid1) is quite angsty, if you haven't read it.

These were the closest I could come up with at the moment:

The Long Road has angst and some darkness, but a happy ending.

Another Time, Another World is short and *beautiful* and angsty in the best possible way.

And if I'm permitted to shill my own fic, Jeeves and the Principle of Cause and Effect has serious consequences to their getting caught, although the serious consequences are treated in a not-too serious way. (The premise was basically, "I'm going to make medical institutional torture funny!")

And like others I'd *love* more period music!

Jeeves and the Tale of Abington Chase is dark, though it's got a happy ending.

Part One (http://skyblue-reverie.livejournal.com/7555.html)
Part Two (http://skyblue-reverie.livejournal.com/7919.html)

I guess so. I haven't read any of the new stuff that's hit the comm, so I don't know if there's anything else out there. *shrug*

For the "getting caught and facing the consequences"--I don't think there are more many of those.

I know there's one where they caught by a certain "Black", a nephew or some sort from Aunt Agatha--can't remember, really.

Eh, I was actually wrote one, along with a drawing, a while ago... http://mxdp.livejournal.com/14449.html#cutid1 , and as a reply Blackletter wrote Jeeves and the Principle of Cause and Effect...

...Enjoy...

My amazing art? Rofl-Where? ;)

Of course! I would be delighted! ♥ Woohoo! Another victim! And I don't care how selfish and weird THAT sounds ;) It will probably be a bit quieter till the end of June cause I got for my exams but after that--full charge.

You've just reminded me that I've got like what, 2 or 3 drawings of our dear Stephen... Gotta change that. ^^

Gotta promise something though, comment once a while? Please? It really means a lot to me...

Woohoo!

I can appreciate the concept, and even the execution, of dark!fic, but I'm so much more a 'fluff' sort of person that I tend not to save links or info on any of the darker stuff, unless it's incredibly exceptional. There were a few that struck me, but I'm sure you've seen them as I'm a rather recently-joined member and they weren't really hard to find.

EDIT: More music is ALWAYS welcome. Skim back a bit and you'll see I've offered some, as have several others in the not too distant past. :)

It seems to me there was a story where Jeeves had an evil twin brother who tortured Bertie. Guy's name was Jack or something. I also think it was a crossover of some type. I cannot remember the name of it or the author. But it was very dark and quite well done.

Just went looking for this one and the author's LJ isn't available any longer. I can't find the story archived anywhere else. Pity.

Thank you very much for sharing your music with us.

Has been mentioned before, but have you found Green Ice, by Adina? It is a crossover with Dorothy Sayers' Peter Wimsey series and it is amazing. There are a couple of short sequels as well.

Damnit, madam, your bunnies attacked me as I passed, #3 bit me, and now I'm seven pages into a piece with the working title "If You'll Just Come With Me, Jeeves".
