What ho!
I frequently find myself with the dilemma of not being a writer or much of a 2D artist, but when Chaoschick13 was talking about indexing all of the books, I was moved to baked cookies for him! I got a set of Jeeves and Wooster themed cookie cutters for myself, so I was looking for an excuse to use them anyway.
I mailed them out today, but the postal service is...not always too kind to packages, especially with contents prone to breaking and smearing, so I made sure to take "before" pictures to share with you all.

Jeeves loves Wooster!

Rubber duckie loves Bertie!

Aand Bertie loves his rubber duckie!

Bertie loves Jeeves! I think this tie is my favorite! Green and orange plaid <3 Jeeves may love Bertie, but that tie would not last long. That cookie on the right, by the way, is a hat, not a snake that swallowed an elephant, in case you were wondering. (Good for you if that is exactly what you were wondering though.) The outline would be in black (as would the frosting) but I didn't have black icing or frosting, so just be good and pretend.

Bertie's rubber duckie collection.

Bertie's tie collection. Soon to be burned.

This one is best if you imagine that Bertie is running towards those ties in the previous picture.

Bowler hats! Only the plain hat on the left is Jeeves approved. I imagine the rest are the way Bertie would decorate the hats if he could. The one on the right kind of looks like a nice 20s flapper cap, so it can be Jeeves' drag hat.

And, appropriately, we end with love!

Date: 2009-04-28 07:35 pm (UTC)The bowler hat was from a hobby store in IL and the duck and tie were from a baking/cooking boutique in WI. I've found that independently owned stores like that are much more likely to carry the interesting bits than the big chains.

Date: 2009-04-28 11:39 am (UTC)Look at the wee duckies! I'm in love with the orange/green plaid tie. Jeeves can stfu.
Flapper cap ftw!
Are these really in the mail? Holy crap! I shall take pictures of them when they arrive so you can see how they fare.
Thank you! *bustles off to hurry Woosterpedia along*

Date: 2009-04-28 07:50 pm (UTC)Haha no need - I just figured that if they did wind up mangled, you should know that they started out less so! Though if there are any interesting changes or if the mail has jostled certain cookies into inappropriate positions re: other cookies, do let me know! :P
You're welcome! No rush on the Woosterpedia (excellent name, btw!) but best of luck!
Also - the Spock icon is totally just for you. Yay Spock!

Again, you are much too kind. Thank you. I shall let you know of any naughtiness the cookies may have had. :D

Date: 2009-04-28 12:41 pm (UTC)Slightly OT: Little Prince reference FTW! XD XD Love that book. Sadly, though, I am a grown-up and did not wonder if it was an elephant inside a snake. :( I need hints like little eyes and a mouth.

Date: 2009-04-28 07:54 pm (UTC)Yay! I'm glad someone got the Little Prince reference! It's my favorite book, and when I thought "oh dear, that doesn't look quite like a bowler hat" the first thought was a snake w/elephant. It doesn't look too much like that though either - perhaps an oddly striped snake. ^_^

Well-decorated.
The minions are now clamoring for theme-cookies. Ah well.
I'll be down in the lab.

Cookie lab! Put the minions to work making themed cookies!
