London is a splendid place
Apr. 13th, 2009 11:19 pmDecided to go for a walk round London with my parents today and I forced them to do a walk in Mayfair. So we saw Curzon St, supposedly the site of the Junior Ganymede, and Berkely Square (no nightingales, regrettably) and where I deduced the Drones to be (eastern end of Hay Hill, I think). Best of all though, there was a certain shop, pointed out on
daisy_suzuki 's photo-tour, that we found ourselves outside.

And here's Berkely Square Gardens. Because I can.
And Hatchard's has shelves upon shelves of PG Wodehouse - no bookshop where I live has more than three books. Move me in there now!

if that's any help.
I saw another branch of Jeeves last week, in Kensington! But sadly, didn't take a photo.
Mayfair *is* marvellous.
