I would seriously love a stuffed frog. As in, either an actual, dead frog in a jar, or a plush animal. And I should call it Jeeves and put it on top of my bookcase.
Anyone else get these absurd ideas? Like, Jeeves&Wooster-related things they'd want? (Aside from the brilliant Jeeves alarm clock, of course, which we'd all kill to own.)

That's...not...Kanye West, the singer's blog, is it?

Date: 2009-04-02 02:36 pm (UTC)And I'd kill for Bertie's wardrobe (well, the Jeeves-approved bits, anyway). Waistcoats really ought to come back into fashion.

Date: 2009-04-03 01:04 pm (UTC)That'd be terribly annoying for those of us who wear waistcoats in everyday life (way before I heard of J&W, mind!). I might have to start wearing things like... jeans and t-shirts D: *shudder*
As for wanting a valet... looking at my flat, I *need* one. :P

Date: 2009-04-02 04:01 pm (UTC)But I'd settle for a T-shirt that says "What would Jeeves do?" and a poster of the same. And a leather-bound collection of the books. And a Special Edition DVD of the Granada series, chock full of extras. And the World of Wooster series (I haven't seen any of those eps!). And a Chesterfield.
And eventually a London flat laid out more or less like the one in the Granada series (though I'd settle for just a nice London flat).
And a whangee.
And I intend to get them all before I die! Muahahahaha! (Though the first two would be rather... difficult.)

Date: 2009-04-02 06:00 pm (UTC)Possibly funny sidenote: I was also curious about "Boffle" because one of the euphamisms for sex that I grew up with was "Boff" ('he was boffing his butler, you know, terribly scandalous'). *snirk*

Date: 2009-04-02 06:04 pm (UTC)Or dl the entire thing.I grew up with Boffle, and Blackadder, and Jeeves and Wooster etc etc..Hehe, I've been told that by American friends before, does put the nickname Boffle in a slightly new light, doesn't it? X D

Date: 2009-04-02 05:47 pm (UTC)As well as that alarm clock (which continues to defy me on the ad sites).
A genuine Jeeves of my very own would send me right into conniption fits of glee, possibly lasting several years. I'm tingly at the very notion.
When, I ask you, WHEN will science advance to the stage where we can whip up a batch of fresh and efficient Jeevesian DNA and pop out a perfect manservant?

Date: 2009-04-02 06:51 pm (UTC)Then of course I would love the clock and the lamps and all the books (*why* is it taking so long for the first part to come to me D:)... Plus I don't have the fourth season on dvd.
Oh, yesterday I had to use a brilliant thingummy at school that I am tempted to steal it or take a picture at least because it said (read actually) it was 'Intelligent flowmeter' and the best part was that it was made by *J&W Scientific*. You can imagine my delight when I saw it... XD

Also, I'm one of those obsessive/lucky people that has the alarm clock and oh! but I love it! I also have a bowler hat cookie cutter, so I need a tophat, tie, ducky, or other sufficiently Berite cookie cutter to go with it!
