Date: 2009-01-26 11:13 pm (UTC)It's probably worth bearing in mind that I do have a migraine at the moment - so my eyes are probably more sensitive than usual :)
Also, if it were me (and I know I would be lost if I even tried) I'd maybe go with a slightly warmer shade of grey for the background. This one's just a bit cold. It's very stylish though.
Not a big deal anyway. You can't please everyone! Mostly I'm relieved we're not sticking with magic paper - when I saw that design I wound up clicking the 'view in my style' link. It was much harder to read. Thanks for all your hard work - it does look much better than the old version (not the magic paper, the one before that). I'm really glad to see the icons on the left.

Date: 2009-01-26 11:09 pm (UTC)Cause this is a really spiffy layout, and I like it a lot, it's just a hair difficult to read on.

Date: 2009-01-26 11:22 pm (UTC)I'd prefer it if the colors were a bit warmer, personally, but I do like the overall style of this.

Date: 2009-01-26 11:20 pm (UTC)By the way, mellifluous_ink, I'm a software developer - so I know what it's like to work your fingers to the bone trying to please a ton of people. Sometimes you just want to ... well. It's hard. I've got to the point where I mostly have someone else give me the gist of the feedback we get, so I don't have to hear the original tone the comments were written in! You've done a great job.

Date: 2009-01-26 11:32 pm (UTC)I feel for you, anyway. Feedback is really valuable, but it can be hard to read unless you have really thick skin. Tip: if you ever start a small business, never be a customer service rep for your own company. ;)
