Oct. 16th, 2008 04:32 pmInspired by Applea's icon I decided to do a little photo manip. Since it's so small I'm posting it here direct rather than making a cut, hope that's ok. I would have just made it into an icon - but I can't bear to crop it down!

Sorry it's not higher res - but I can't find a high res copy of the original image of Stephen Fry and Jude Law anywhere! My only problem with it is that Bertie looks a bit too short. I was sticking him over the top of Jude Law, of course, and I believe Jude Law is considerably shorter than Hugh Laurie. Oh well - just pretend Jeeves is standing on a step.
Those of you who are such huge Stephen Fry fans that you know exactly which way the nose bends will notice that the image is back to front. Sorry. It just looked better flipped around. I always think Jeeves looks better on Bertie's left - gives the sense that Jeeves is always following behind the young master, as it were.
Feel free to steal this image for any non-profit use. If you credit me I'd appreciate it.
Disclaimer: I am not profiting from this image etc etc. No disrespect intended and all that.
Pip pip.

Date: 2008-10-17 07:25 am (UTC)although you are right that he is a bit too short, it doesn't ruin the image at all - I'd probably never noticed it if you didn't tell ;)

Date: 2008-10-17 07:58 pm (UTC)But I like it, it is awesome. ^^
And it inspired me to made an avatar. Here it is. I have made it in a old way, you know, old pictures are always a little bit old and grey-yellow touched.

Date: 2008-10-18 02:50 am (UTC)I agree about Bertie. It happened that his posture and the angle of his head in the picture I got it from fitted perfectly into the image of Stephen Fry with Jude Law, which is why I chose that one - but I would have preferred a different expression for Bertie. I wonder if I can put a different face on there? I'm pretty slow with Photoshop. I like Stephen Fry's expression. It's an angsty sort of look and I'm a sucker for that sort of thing ;)

Date: 2008-10-18 07:20 am (UTC)I keep hoping and praying (in vain, I'm sure) that a publicity photo like this will surface someday! This is a nice alternative.
