!!!

I was perusing the entry for Hugh Laurie at www.imdb.com when I noticed he's to be in a new movie (coming out late this year?) called "The Flight of the Phoenix". It rang a bell, so I figure I might have heard of an LOTR actor in it - and I was right - Miranda Otto! On top of that, I see that Giovanni Ribisi, whom I enjoy watching act, is in it, and I also notice some odd-looking blonde guy, and - yes - it's him! *L*!

So, I had to use my LOTR/Wodehouse icon, starring Pippin "Skippy" Took... *G*

Here are some pics for your enjoyment - including a shirtless Laurie! (BTW - if somebody already mentioned this here before and I completely forgot - just let me know - *G*):

I've been looking forward to this movie ever since it was announced on the IMDb. It's a remake of an older movie (my father loveth the older movie), but I just can't wait to drool over Hugh, especially in shirtless mode. Thanks for the pics, I'd never seen that last one and I'm very glad I have now!!

Isn't it due for a December release worldwide? I thought so.

*gets up and joins in the Grease duet*

Um someone here (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377062/board/thread/13731174) is claiming it's December 17. I had read it was December 22, which is also referenced in that post. Anyway, on Hugh's IMDb page it just says "2004", which means it has to be out in December.

I hope it's a worldwide release.

It better be.

I've grown accustomed to world wide releases. Yay for being spoiled.

*marks 17 Dec in het little yellow book and makes an addition to the Christmas/birthday wishlist*

My, this IS going to be a good month. *glee*

Hee, it's quite funny actually that you wrote "het" instead of "her".

Damn, I don't think it's a worldwide release! I just read in our movie guide that it's getting to Australia in February. Which means that it can't be a worldwide release but probably a US first release. :(

Well, you know, I've a little het book and a little gay book. I'm 20, I'm supposed to want to jump everything with a pulse.

Dag nab it about the release >.< And I read 'UK' first, too. Was already thinking of excuses to pop over there.

Haha. But the little "slash" or "gay book" should be rainbow, not yellow!

UK first? Hmmm. My brother will be in the UK at that time. Something in my brain is screaming "tape it in the cinema!"
