...sorry about this, but I just found a bit of a fic on my computer, in with my own fic but which I don't remember writing. Does anyone know of a fic which begins like Expandthis )
because if not, I probably did write it and should have a bash at finishing it.
Second thing is that not long ago I read a fic and can't remember much about it, but want to read it again so it will *leave me alone*. Does anyone else get that? An idea or a scene that will sit in your head annoying you until you re-read it or write it, as appropriate? Like having the chorus of a song stuck in your head and only being able to shift it by listening to the whole song. Er, anyway, it's a fic in which Jeeves cries because he thinks he can be detached while getting personal, but can't. I had a poke around on delicious, but couldn't find it there. Which is annoying as if it's an old one that'll be where I got it from...

Hello all! I'm new to the fandom and new to the community. I was browsing the indeedsir archives and found a simply topping old post with two marvellous scenes that [livejournal.com profile] magegirl8 made in Photoshop: http://community.livejournal.com/indeedsir/130759.html

Well, upon perusing her fellow Joosterites' comments to the archival matter, it became apparent that this paragon of Photoshop had given her permission to iconise her images for userpics (with the sensible caveat that the iconiser grant her due credit for the pic), but to my disappointment, further perusal of the community didn't yield a single result in the icon department. I mean to say, while there are plenty of icons in general, the aforesaid icon hasn't been iconised, or rather the picture hasn't. Or hadn't, since I promptly took it upon myself to do the job.

Hey all. So, I have this fic that I finished writing and it needs help. What I really need is someone who can Britpick for me and can let me know if I'm doing Bertie's authorial voice correctly, but any help is appreciated. Some familiarity with the Harry Potter universe would be good as well. It's not a crossover in the strictest sense of the word (since none of Rowling's characters are in the story) but the boys are wizards and they discuss wizarding stuff (specifically Beedle the Bard and invisibility cloaks). So, yeah, I would be really grateful for the help. Thanks.

Just a reminder that Halloween is fast approaching. If you're writing a Halloween Jooster fic or doing some art, just post it on or around Halloween. Any rating, any genre, drabble or long fic — it doesn't matter. If we get enough contributions (at least 5 and we have one already), I'll make a pdf of all of them and have that available for download.

And I just thought of this - even some Halloween icons or macros would be sweet. Oh, just anything that brings to mind a Jooster Halloween!

Could anyone direct me to existing drawings or sketches which somehow have Bertie on the giving end and Jeeves on the receiving (which would ordinarily have a rating of  PG-13, R or NC-17)? I've searched high and low and found about two to three, but maybe, just maybe, I haven't searched enough.

Allo! Pip here...
More mini writing exercise song thingummies from me.
Some I fancy more than others, but there's my stab. The rules do specify to not skip anything that comes up. So there...

Rated G, PG, maybe PG-13 tops if I'm any judge...
Some slash and some minor character love over here!
Unbeta'd and ready for critique.
Feedback is loved and always demanded appreciated.

 Oh, also, QI= love:
Fry: "Why did the inventor of the decimal point encourage his servants to stroke his cock?"
Carr: "Is it because, if you've got servants, you would, wouldn't you?

Ladies! Gentlemen! The World of Jeeves and Wooster is once more available to the public!

I did a random search for Hugh Laurie on iTunes, and finally, the good old songs are available again!  The Dover Street Jazzomaniacs and Bertie Wooster, previously only available by bootlegging (or, asking a kindly person on indeedsir to send the copied files), are now up for downloading at standard iTunes rates ^^ Isn't it marvellous?

The downside, though, is that certain songs are missing. Or rather, the parts which are direct offcuts from the series are. Such as Bertie and Gussie practicing to play for Gertrude.

What ho!
Part six of my fic The Crime is up and running, but this is the point at which I have to start dishing out *serious content warnings* for sexual and physical assualts and angst.
Ok.
Title:  The Crime
Pairing:  Jeeves and Bertie.
Rating: NC17
Words:  About 2,400
Summary:  Jeeves learns some of the truth and visits Bertie in hospital.

Enjoy!  :)

Well hello there I guess... I'm goldfeathers_hq, I finally dug up a DVD set of Jeeves and Wooster in a back alley cornershop-ish dust collection so far away from any mainstream civilisation that I just spent two days relearning the language of the common man... and I must say I'm smitten! Ah I guess I enjoyed the exercise... leave it to us Dutchmen to stick a Jeeves and Wooster DVD in a place genuinely called Sexbeerum!

What else is there to say about me...
I love Jeeves and Wooster and Jooster,
I'm 16,
I'm Dutch,
I'm quite good at writing (which I must put like that because its the only thing I'm better than average at) and I have had this fic idea swerving around in my head for a week now but I'm deathly afraid of ever executing it because, and you must be aware of this already, you guys are extraordinary! And I... am me, I suppose, and I'm intimidated by your greatness and your understanding of the English language.

That's it.
Keep up the good work!
