Date: 2006-08-28 05:21 pm (UTC)I don't know, I don't think Bertie on his own is so much a bad dresser as an easily impressionable one. He knows what a good suit is supposed to look and feel like, for example, he's just too prone to latch on to the latest shiny fad in headgear or ties. (Check out the red fez at the bottom of this photo (http://www.bertie-wooster.com/bespoke.html). Someone needs to fic him coming home to Jeeves wearing that.) Of course, that's partly to do with only frequenting the best tailors, who presumably have nigh-irreproachable taste...This is, of course, all in re: choosing clothes, not getting dressed. Poor boy can barely tie his own neckwear, let alone, I don't know, iron.
I am now pining for a world where this kind of clothing had anything whatsoever to do with my life.
