Come to think of it, isn't Bertie's car a two-seater? Or does he have more than one? I can't quite remember.

But far be it from me to stand in the way of your perfectly good fantasies -- dream away ^_^ Though judging by the period cars I've seen, engaging in any 'romantic athletics' in the backseat of one of them would require quite a bit of dexterity...
