Aug. 13th, 2004 05:36 pmOh, how these reviews amuse me...
"Based on the well-loved novels of P.G. (Pelham Grenville) Wodehouse, this British series featuring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, chronicles the misadventures (romantic and otherwise) of the impeccably dressed Bertie Wooster and his trusty and sagacious butler, Jeeves. "
Am I the only one who read this as "romantic and otherwise adventures between Jeeves and Bertie"?
I found a Belgian Drones Club... omgsquee.

Date: 2004-08-14 01:45 pm (UTC)Mom (prompted by something on TV: "I don't understand how anyone could be attracted to someone of his own gender. I mean, if I was a man, I just can't imagine it."
Me: "Well, you're attracted to them now, aren't you?"
Mom: "Yes, but I'm a woman."
Helen and Nikki kissing in Bad Girls prompted this:
Mom: "I don't like it how... these British shows... make it look like it's... fifty-fifty, you know?"
I took that to mean that it's unrealistic that a show about a women's prison has a lesbian relationship in it.
*rolls her eyes* AND she's against kink. She says sex is natural and okay, as long as it's not kinky.
This might not be the place to talk about this, but...
