Alison Brooks has written a whole series of alternative authors' versions of Lord of the Rings. Scroll down for a brief scene featuring Frodo and his valet Samwise...
I would read that book.

Also, see this comment (http://www.metafilter.com/119073/Very-good-sir-Should-I-lay-out-your-crazy-adventure-garb#4518971) at metafilter for an alternate and longer Wodehousian Lord of the Rings scene.

Both this and the one originally linked were wonderful. I'm now mildly craving a RPF fic where Wodehouse gets introduced to Tolkien.
Thank you all!

As a P.G. Wodehouse fan and a LOTR fan, I loved every sentence I read. :)
You can believe my suprise and excitement when they announced Stephen Fry would play the Lord of Laketown.

That was hilarious :D Good find! I remember once reading a fic, which I think [livejournal.com profile] lbilover posted a link to, which was about Frodo and his valet Gamgeeves... :P His aunt Lobelia as aunt Agatha, funny as hell!! I'll see if I can find the link.

ETA: Here is is http://keenlypeachy.wordpress.com/2011/01/20/now-for-something-completely-different/

Enjoy!

(I agree with [livejournal.com profile] firtavain, I was thrilled to know that he was casted for the Hobbit, that's why I took this pic of him and my hobbits, after kindly asking ofcourse xD)
