Rules:
1) A drabble is, by definition, a 100-word story therefore all responses should be 100 words exactly, no exceptions.
2) You may also choose to respond to this challenge with a five-minute sketch.
3) PLEASE put the word DRABBLE at the top of your post. That way people can easily spot the drabbles in amongst any reader comments they receive.
RATING: I don't think this should be limited so reader beware that they could be any rating (you could put it in the subject line if you feel it needs it)

PLEASE try to remember to make each drabble a comment in response to the original post. That way, if the comments start to collapse, the drabbles themselves should remain visible. Thanks.
What with this being a big week and all - Science!
Or some words tangentially connected to it, at least.
Gravity
Entropy
Evolution
Resistance
Equal and Opposite
The Big Bang

Date: 2012-07-06 03:36 pm (UTC)I awoke on the hard ground beneath the tree, with Jeeves hovering over me, looking grave and pressing something firmly to the Wooster noggin.
“I say, Jeeves, what happened?” I croaked.
“The branch broke beneath your weight, sir. You appear to have sustained a significant blow to the cranium.”
“Ah, that explains why the old bean aches so abominably.”
“There is a sizeable gash.” There was the tiniest of creases between his brows, telegraphing considerable worry. I sought to reassure the good fellow.
“No matter, Jeeves. One of your miraculous pick-me-ups, and I will be as right as rain.”
There was a dubious tilt to his eyebrow, which I attempted to answer with a resolute tilt of my own. With a sigh, he lifted the makeshift bandage, checking that the bleeding had slowed, and helped me into a sitting position.
“With my assistance, sir, do you think you could walk as far as the house.
I nodded, then clutched my head. “Ooh, that’s the last time I’m doing Aunt Dahlia’s bidding.”
He helped me to my feet, and with his arm around me, holding me up as we made our slow progress towards the house, I knew I had fallen.

“We will not know unless we open the box, sir.”
“Wouldn’t it be dead?”
“We will not know unless we open it, sir.”
“And this is quantum physics, Jeeves?”
“Tangentially, sir, yes.”
Bertie tapped his foot thoughtfully with his whangee. “So, if we lock ourselves in the Wooster bedroom and get up to ungentlemanly acts, will they have occurred if no one opens the door?”
“Sir, you have always been perfectly gentlemanly in your bedroom acts.”
“But this is all theoretical you say, Jeeves. Shall we find out?”
“Very good, sir.”

He sat there, pondering how much his life had changed since Jeeves had entered it. Chaos had quickly been brought to order, and all the misplaced ends of things finding a way home. He had to admit, it was nice being able to find anything he was looking for. the odd thing had been that as the years had passed, carefully constructed designs had fallen by the wayside. Nothing that anyone else would notice, but he did. And he liked it. He liked knowing that he had that effect on his better half, being able to bring chaos to order.

Date: 2012-07-13 04:41 am (UTC)"Please do complete your essay within the due date this time, Mr. Wooster."
Bertie flushed bright red, his blush even visible in the part in his pale hair. He was aware that even he had begun spending much time out of class with his Biology teacher that it served him no extra favors.
Yet still, he could later enjoy a quiet moment or two with him when his teacher would surely try to compel him to complete his assignments early.
Bertie did not prefer such stratagems, but Reginald Jeeves was a marvel of a man who understand perfectly his reasons.
Drabble: Law of Motion
Young Bertie was aware there was a bond between himself and one Mr. Jeeves. He could feel it as though it were a physical thing, a wire pulled taut. The more he tried to draw himself away--the more that Reginald tried as well--the more they were pushed together.
"I had wondered Mr. Wooster if you had plans to continue with your schooling."
"A levels...University, Mr. Jeeves? I'm not quite sure that is for me."
"But a shame Mr. Wooster. I believe our professor of music intends to resign within the next few years."
Bertie merely gaped at him.
So it's the continuation of Biology Teacher Jeeves and Secondary Student Bertie! And, you get two of them because I decided I couldn't choose. As a note for Law of Motion, this is mainly using the reference of "If a horse draws a stone tied to a rope, the horse (if I may so say) will be equally drawn back towards the stone: for the distended rope, by the same endeavour to relax or unbend itself, will draw the horse as much towards the stone, as it does the stone towards the horse, and will obstruct the progress of the one as much as it advances that of the other." I imagine Bertie as the horse and Jeeves as the rock. XD Eventually, they'll be back right where they started. Except you know....not breaking any regulations with a student/teacher relationship.

Date: 2012-07-13 11:34 pm (UTC)DOUBLE DRABBLE: For Science
“I say, old thing, I was stewing the old noodle in re that stuff you were on about last night,” Bertie said lazily, lighting a gasper before clambering back into the mussed bed next to his man, both wearing only the suits tailored for them at birth.
“Which ‘stuff’ might that be, Bertram?” Jeeves asked as Bertie passed over the cigarette.
“Can’t recall all of it, what with being half asleep, but one of the bits I recall was that ‘Big Bang Theory’ of yours. As I said, gave it a bit of a think.”
“Did you?” Jeeves’ voice was slow and deep with recent satiation. Blowing a perfect smoke ring, he then returned the ciggy.
“I did. And I think… well… in order to have a really proper ‘big bang’ we’d need another chap.” Taking a puff, Bertie blew the smoke toward the ceiling, asking speculatively, “What say we invite Rocky Todd ‘round for a weekender?”
Jeeves turned his head to look at Bertie with high-risen brows.
Holding out the gasper, Bertie wiggled his own brows suggestively. “For science?”
After a pause, the answer came wreathed in smoke from Jeevesian lips curled into a wicked smirk, “For science, indeed.”
