I think you might be right about Fry and Laurie. I've noticed in the old illustrations that wotwotleigh has been posting that they tend to portray Bertie as the taller one.
I can imagine anything from a relatively slender frame for Jeeves (though not as much as Bertie) to something a bit - like you said - Vitruvian. I can't really decide which feels most right to me.
