I was working on another Christmassy picture, decided it was crap when it was already about 80% done, and chucked it in favor of this one. I'm glad I did. :)

(I've been modifying my image of the characters again, so you can see there's been a bit of a change with Bertie, although because of the angle I guess the only really noticeable change is his hair.)

I've also put up a bunch of art at my LJ again.

Oh, and a little announcement. I'm probably going to delete a number of old pictures from my gallery that I just can't stand any more. So if there's anything you'd like to keep, I'll give you a couple of weeks or so to do it. :)

Ugh how do you do art??? I get a warm feeling in the pit of my stomach when I look at it :)

Hop you haven't deleted anything, as I am afraid I am going to stock it all up asap :)

Sometimes I wonder myself (although not in the positive way you mean). Glad you like it!

Nothing's been deleted yet, you have plenty of time. :) I keep forgetting about it anyway, so I probably won't do anything till at least mid-January.

It was great fun, looking through your gallery - lovely to see that, no matter how good you were, you still got better and better and better. How you experiment with styles, and colour, everything. It''s a real treat, and a real inspiration, to me. I understand the doubts or frustrations you may have - everybody who draws got them, I guess, but I want to thank you for continuing to share your art with us. :)

Yeah, it's encouraging for me to go back and see how much progress I've made. At the same time, there's some stuff in there that just makes me cringe whenever I look at it. Plus (and maybe this is stupid of me, but I can't help it), I feel like there's just too much there. So I want to clear out some of the old crap to make way for new.

Thanks for understanding. :) And I'm glad you enjoyed the trip through my gallery. (Which reminds me, I need to go in and do some organizing soon...)
