ironicbees, here are some screencaps from season 4.
I must say that I was stunned by the differences and luckily that yellow-brownish tint has disappeared!
Bertie is rather distracted by one handsome valet's bum, don't you think?
He's obviously staring *g*
His smile is so much more brighter <3
It never occurred to me that this scene was so bally dark. I love the detail on the wall and carved wood. :)

Date: 2011-11-24 09:36 pm (UTC)I agree there's something charmingly nostalgic about the sepia hue of the older version, but at the same time the rich, glowing colors in the remastered version remind me of art deco illustrations. I always pictured the Wodehouse universe being drenched in oversaturated color when I read the books.
