ONOES

After many a month without having time or steam to work on a fic, I've once again started on a Jooster tale. Just wanted to let y'all know. I have no idea how long it will be, but it is a Jooster/Sentinel mashup. It is set in the Sentinel universe (or rather an AU Sentinel universe where people actually know about them and they have a place in society) but doesn't deal with any of the actual Sentinel series characters.

I mean, seriously, is there anyone who doesn't think Jeeves's Valet Senses™ tingle when someone is plotting against Bertie? Or that those outlandish ties and waistcoats of Bertie's don't actually give the poor man a headache from their loudness?

If we're lucky, I might get it in before Yule. Maybe. If I write like a writing thingummy.

ETA: For those unfamiliar with The Sentinel, here is the Wikipedia page on the show and the Fanlore wiki that talks about some of the fannish AU tropes found in the fandom's fic.

Do put a link to wikipedi or something so I can read it, and find out what the Sentinel universe is. Blame my limited education;)

Yaaay! I'm completely unfamiliar with The Sentinel, but after reading the Wikipedia entry it sounds like this will be a most intriguing story. :D

There is no "onoes" about this. Your writing a fic is a good thing. A very good thing.

Sounds great, and you are right, those senses of Jeeves...

I am a big fan of The Sentinel fandom (and especially like the AU where they are known), the cross-overs I've read have mainly been with NCIS (Sweet Anonymity on ff.net springs to mind), and SGA, but this sounds like a dream come through!

If anyone wants to read a couple of stories set in the original universe then I recommend Glacis (http://www.castleskeep.net/Sentinel_fiction.htm), that site also has the benefit of pictures of the original main characters (got to love that hair).

Sweet!

As a big fn of both fandoms I can't wait for it! It is always exciting when my Jeeves crossover comes along.
