Just thought I'd pass this along.

Earlier today the U.S. Library of Congress unveiled a project called "the National Jukebox." Now you can hear some of the rare audio recordings at the Library online.

I know this is located in the U.S. but it might be a good research tool for anyone looking to write about Bertie and Jeeves whooping it up at some of the clubs in NYC or something.  You can search by date, name, genre  etc.

Ran over to take a look, and you can look up Wodehouse, getting some of the songs he helped do the lyrics on! Cool beans, my frank thanks for posting!

Very cool! I heard about this a few months ago and have been looking forward to it. (Of course already I'm railing about the lack of searchability and the limitations - why can't I search for female vocalist/humor?? I can't remember this woman's name and I want to hear more by her, she was so FUNNY.)

Speaking of which, I actually heard the song in this icon on the local really really oldies station! I wondered if it had been written for the show, because it's so ridic.

Yeah, I still didn't see any way to search for female vocalists. Do you? I might have missed it. I'm generally not known for being the sharpest tack in the box.
