Not being bilingual, I can't be 100% certain that this is Wodehouse-inspired. However, Hyperwords translated the caption above the image as Katsuta sentence (melody “please, [jivusu]”) from message. Perhaps "Jivusu" is the equivalent of Jeeves?

in japanese every word must end with a vowel sound so "jeeves" will indeed become "jeeve-su" or something like that

I think it's not Midorikawa Yuki who's drawn this but most likely Katsuta Bun, the mangaka of Please Jeeves, which serializes in the Melody manga anthology by Hakusensha.

I can't read enough of the kanji at the top to know what it says except "zehi" which means certainly and "onegaishimasu" which means please. My grammar skills aren't what they used to be, but the speech bubble says "un daijoubu, bokuwa bakaga, kin nara aru" which is something like "Yes, it's I'm an idiot, but there is/I have money." And Jivusu would certainly seem like the right katakana for Jeeves' name :D

Actually, it's spelled Jiivusu in Melody, Melody being the magazine Please, Jeeves is serialized in. Sorry, tiny difference, most translator programs miss the symbol for a long vowel. There is supposed to be a new chapter out by now, but ... ummm.... yeah.

'Katsuta sentance' is Katsuta Bun, the mangaka who draws it. Lots of mangaka are putting out little messages letting know people they are alright.

Does anybody know if there's any new Please, Jeeves coming out in the future? I loved the first couple manga that came out.

I believe there will be more coming out. Because manga "Please, Jeeves" series is still continuing in the Manga-magazine 'Melody'. But 'Melody''s publishing schedule is 2-monthly basis so the progress is painfully slowly. And the series sometimes doesn't appear every issue. How sad. X(

In the issue February 2011, manga "Please, Jeeves" reached episode 12th; Claude&Eustace falling in love with the same woman, Marion the showgirl. Late April issue and coming June issue doesn't include the series. Perhaps in August issue, there'll be episode 13th...

It does! I ordered from them in the past and books or comics are allowed to be sent overseas ^^ CDs or DVDs can't be sent, though. I'll probably get my copies from them ^__^
