EDIT: I was trying to fix a typo and I deleted the original entry, so I'm reposting. Sorry!

India Knight guesses the recipe for Jeeves' morning after potion. Personally, I think it's much more involved, probably a bit of alcohol (hair of the dog, what?) and possibly some methamphetamine XD I'd add a dash of tobasco, too. I doubt that Jeeves would give up a "secret ingredient" in the description.

What do you think is in it?

India Knight's Hangover Cure

Follow Jeeves' recipe for Bertie:

Place in glass: one egg yolk, a dash of Worcester sauce and some paprika. Probably best not to stir, just swallow in one. You will feel better very quickly and strangely energized.

Our clues to it in canon:

"It is a little preparation of my own invention. It is the Wocester sauce that gives it its color. The raw egg makes it nutritious. The red pepper gives it its bite. Gentlemen have told me thye have found it extrememly invigorating after a late evening"

It's gotta be a little more involved because that is hardly of Jeeve's "Own invention." You see that hangover cure everywhere. ...Unless of course, Jeeves was the first. Which is entirely possible.

egg yolk in the morning would probably kill me... but egg yolk with Jeeves in the morning is quite acceptable combination...

I like this story's (http://community.livejournal.com/indeedsir/117550.html) take on it, that the mixture contained Mulliner’s Buck-U-Uppo. It's my personal canon now. :D

I know most people probably think this drink sounds disgusting, but for some reason it sounds really good to me.

If the "red pepper" is cayenne pepper rather than paprika, I can see this hangover sure being quite potent!

I'm willing to bet Jeeves has some other ingredients he is NOT going to divulge.

>>strangely energized

well...it sounds mysterious...I am willing to have a try only when Jeeves is the one who hands it to me...
