I've been wrestling with the idea of fic setting Bertie as a suriviour of the trenches for a long time now ( I blame Dorothy L. Sayers), but it's not going anywhere fast.
Basically I'm hoping that someone will have written something similar and it may prompt the plot bunnies to co-operate. So are there any fics out there linked to the First World War?
Someone did mention one in a discussion about Armstice day (Green Ice, I think it was called), but when the link didn't work. Thank you in advanced for your help.

Date: 2010-11-19 09:16 pm (UTC)My idea (in it's VERY rough state) was for Bertie to have been injured and suffering from shellshock. One of his aunts (I think it's Dahila, but she's been a bit remiss about introductions) decides to take matters into her own hands and engarges Jeeves.

Date: 2010-11-19 09:47 pm (UTC)So if you don't mind Bertie being accidentally committed and like the sound of a battalion of aunts coming to save him, and eventually tell Jeeves a bit of what happened, here's Bedlam:

It's sequel, Ether:

And Delirium, the sequel to Ether, but this is the only part she's posted.
