A question about a plotbunny mentioned in the past

Some time back I remember someone suggesting a plotbunny about Bertie and Jeeves meeting while Jeeves is working for someone else, and the idea that they became lovers during that time, so an AU of sorts.

I can't remember if anyone said they were writing that bunny or not. I'd kind of like to write a story like that and don't want to step on anyone's toes if they're already working on it.

Does anyone else remember this, or am I hallucinating?

I remember this. Or something like it. Someone had the idea that Jeeves ended up working for Chuffy, and that Bertie met him through C, and then somehow they ended up in cahoots anyway (like, with the uniting of the romantic pairs and the stealing of cow creamers, etc, etc).

I'd like to see this too! Never written anything for this fandom (nothing I'm willing to post, anyway), so I can't offer to do it for you.

Yeah, that was the general gist of the thread I remember seeing. I'd like to write something like it myself if nobody else is doing it, which is why I was asking.

Nothing to stop you from writing your own version, though, surely? The more the joosterer, which would be absolutely grand.

Ah, okay. That would make sense. I thought it was someone I knew who had been talking about doing it. I'll poke her. I don't think she'd be bothered if we were both doing a similar story.
