Jooster Epic of Doom (now with doomsauce)

As a few of you might remember, I started work a couple of months ago on a Jeeves & Wooster in the Future AU story. I didn't imagine it would end up as immense as it is, but I've finally finished the story and it's in the final stages of beta editing. I've got the whole thing ready to go over on my mice1900 journal waiting in eyes-only mode for any potential edits, and a master post links list that I'll post here on indeedsir so everyone can link and read to their heart's content.

The story is posted in 8 chapters with a total of 20 posts and rounds out at somewhere in the vicinity of 171,300 words. With any luck, I'll be able to post before I hit the road Thursday morning for a few days in Vancouver with friends.

It is AU and angsty and smuttly and all kinds of good stuff.

Huge thanks to random_nexus, storyfan and blackletter (whose fault it is that I got into this fandom to begin with, with his EVIL Holmes/Jooster crossover fic) for their help, their editing, and their handholding and encouragement through this ZOMFGWTFBBQ project.

I can't really post before beta is finished. I've had beta comments up to chapter 5 (these are detail beta, the major stuff was accomplished while the writing was in progress), and I'm keen to post with every comma and apostrophe in its proper place.

Given that I write professionally (not fiction, but still), I want anything with my name on it to be the best I can manage.

In the interests of wanting to read it myself, but being prevented from downloading twenty chapters due to my ever worsening carpal tunnel, would you be interested in a Dreamwidth account? You can post chapters of up to 60,000 or so words there, so the entire story could be posted in four parts or less. Let me know -- I have a spare invite code I could give you.

No problem. I totally understand. I have fibro myself and some days even looking at a keyboard makes me want to bang my head on a wall because that would hurt less.
