Since I have no time, too vivid imagination and no real ideas where to go after the beginning, I decided to give away some of my little ones. Two, actually. Both are Bertie/Jeeves, pre-slash/UST at the beginning but in the end they would be couple (duh) and anything from PG-13 to higher ratings is acceptable.

//: Edited after been reminded why excatly I haven't been thinking the first plotbunny for a year or so i.e. the ideas I mentioned have already been used admirably and my memory sucks.

First idea:

In The Aunt and the Sluggard Bertie mentions that he saw Jeeves one evening at Midnight Revels, enjoying a fat cigar and writing some notes. Now, what if a night or few after it Bertie would somehow meet a new person, that fellow would invite him to some party and there introduce him to Jeeves, not knowing they already know each other. There. Cut the rest of my ramblings out just so anyone doesn't have to do impossible and try to overdo the already excisting fic (link in the comments) because, as I said, it's impossible.

I suppose no one really understood my ramblings here... Well, the second one is told in three thousand simple words:

(sorry, couldn't resist)

No need to use the names and places in the pics but the plotbunny lies in the address.

Now, if some kind person is willing to take even one of these from my hands I would be extremely happy.

Your first prompt has kinda already been done. If not exact to the dot it's still a lovely story.
See: http://triedunture.livejournal.com/500471.html

I've been shamelessly pimping her fics, but they're oh so lovely.

Not quite the same plotbunny, but it's...well, it's amazing is what it is.

Yes amazing.

Despite the discrepancies it's not that far off really.

LOLZ I was totally gonna say something but I'm glad someone else did so as to not make me look so pompous.

But I DO love any ideas that have to do with the night Bertie sees Jeeves "in character" as Rocky. I think that's such an interesting night, even though it's like, what, one line of narrative in the story? It really stands out as the first time Bertie sees Jeeves as something more than a valet.

BLARGH all I'm saying is I dig it! :3

This is one of my favorite scenes too. I've actually requested a story detailing it for Yuletide several times. No luck though, I'm afraid. :(

*tries to ignore the fact that there are four names when a trinity is a group of three, then decides she's too much of a pedant to live*

Anyway... I agree wholeheartedly with your decision, but storyfan deserves her place up in the stars as well.

As if... my opinion...mattered.

I confess I'm not familiar enough with her work to say yay or nay, which is why I didn't respond to the other person who mentioned it.

Understood; I hadn't much expected you to as she doesn't post nearly enough of what she's written on the actual comm- it's all on her LJ. On the same token it's probably not your style. I just thought I'd throw my opinion out there like an arse.

Historical pick: The wedding invitation would not, ever, be addressed to Jeeves. Jeeves, no matter how wonderful anyone thinks him, is still a servant.

oops!

Wait, from his sister? *scrolls back up* Oh! Well that's different, then--she'd invite them as separate entities.

Yay for the second prompt! I have the ability to write it myself, but I´ve often thought about Mabel´s wedding, and how Bertie and his friends would react to meeting all of Jeeves´ family and hearing him being addressed as "Reginald" or "Reggie" the whole night. Plus, I don´t know why, but I always think of Jeeves´ sister as a widow. So uncle Reggie would give Mabel away, and it´s very possible that Bertie was Biffy´s best man... The situation slashes itself.

o.O I meant I don´t have the ability to write it myself. I honestly don´t know how that key word went missing from the previous comment. I´m so sorry.

But yes, you´re right about Bertie´s friends... There´d probably just be a few of them.
