What-ho all.
I've been in communication with niektete (aka froggy) and I've decided that it would be best if I at last concede my part in this project.
I should have done so many weeks ago, I know, and I can't apologise enough for keeping everyone waiting. I've been feeling like someone standing on a diving board, wanting to chicken out but not wanting to edge back past all the other divers waiting on the ladder behind me; but while I really hate to be contributing nothing after so much time had already passed, I've finally got to admit that I can't let this go on indefinitely when there are others waiting in line. I'm drawing an absolute blank, and the more the delay has gnawed at me, the harder it's become to break out of it.
If anyone is interested, or wants to be able to refer to Jeeves and Bertie's time in Idaho, I suspect I would have had them retreat from the extreme mid-summer heat of Boise and go up into the mountains. In the mountains they would have seen dead mining 'ghost' towns, glacier lakes, lodgepole pine forests and vast expanses of wilderness areas including the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Perhaps also huckleberries, mule deer, moose, coyotes, beavers, and maybe even the brown (grizzly) or black bear. So that's Idaho.
A big apology to everyone who's been reading through the Educational Tour and waiting anxiously for the next part, and apologies also to the writers waiting to contribute their wonderful chapters to this awesome project. I really am sorry for the delay I've caused, and sorry that I wasn't able to contribute anything. I absolutely adore this community, and I am very sad to be letting it down.
