A Sneak peek
Jan. 9th, 2010 12:38 amHullo!
I'm offering you a sneak peek from a bigger project I've been planning since I read about
storyfan 's movie challenge. I immediately thought about one of my favorite movies; The Wizard of Oz.
...I also drew a quick pic of Jeeves and Bertie in their teens. I have no clue what color Jeeves' eyes are in the books? Does someone know?
Bertie's hair is floppy because it would annoy Aunt Agatha.
I hope you had a sparkly New Year!

All around, <3!!!

Date: 2010-01-08 11:19 pm (UTC)I was thinking about casting Spode as the Cowardly Lion. I still have a lot of designing to do... And of course I have some ideas up my sleeve that I won't reveal B)

Date: 2010-01-08 11:15 pm (UTC)The roles certainly suit the characters well for the Wizard of Oz, Bertie himself would agree.
The teen Bertie and Jeeves are so deeply wonderful and adorable! There needs to be a story like that. (Also, Jeeves reminds me here of Jack Davenport, somewhat.)

Date: 2010-01-08 11:28 pm (UTC)I've always thought it'd be pretty boring if both of them are blue-eyed ( as they are in the TV series )...

Date: 2010-01-09 02:24 am (UTC)I thought I read some discussion on Jeeves's eye color once. I think Bertie once described them (in one of the stories) as sparkling. There was some talk about how only blue eyes really sparkle, but I would think that green eyes would do the same.

Date: 2010-01-11 03:32 pm (UTC)After a bit of pondering I would say that Jeeves has grey or grayish eyes... Green eyes would be cool too, though!

Date: 2010-01-09 05:43 am (UTC)I love Wizard of Oz as well. I love the idea of Spode as the cowardly lion; you think he's all scary, but jsut say Eulilie and he's a little frightened kitty. Oh, now I can't stop thinking about who everyone else would be. I love the idea of Aunt Dahlia as Glinda, although Madeline might make a good Glinda as well, seeing how soppy Glinda is in the movie(all that pink as well)Maybe Stiffy as Dorothy? Always leading them down the yellow brick road and getting them into trouble(Bertie: "But I don't want to follow the yellow brick road, there are witches there" Stiffy: "No, we have to go and see the wizard so he can get Harold a vicarage!") And maybe Plum himself as the wizard?!?;)
Sorry, feel free to disregard me, your art has me all excited:) they're both lovely and keep us updated on the Wizard of Oz thing, I want to see everyone else<3

Date: 2010-01-11 03:18 pm (UTC)Stiffy would be great Dorothy, and she'd have the dog.. Hmm. I'll have to think about it! There are too few women in the movie! :C
