Ok I just added the first disc of Season 1 of Jeeves and Wooster to my queue over at Netflix (because I want to see if the humor in the first ep seems as dry the second time around as it did the first) and anyway when I typed in J&W in their search engine this movie title came up:
Thank You, Jeeves / Step Lively, Jeeves!
It's from 1936 in which Arthur Treacher plays Jeeves and David Niven is Bertie -- and since my curiousity has gotten the best of me I added it to my rental list although I cannot see anyone playing either Bertie or Jeeves as well as Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry do but I will try to watch this version none the less.
Here's hoping I won't regret it too badly lol!
