I got into embroidery something over a year ago and have done it off and on since then. I’ve recently gotten back into it, so one of the first pieces I did was something Joostery.

Looking back, there are some minor color choices I’d change. I tried to follow the colors of the cap I used as closely as possible, but all that brown, grey & black is a tad dull. Still, overall, I’m pretty happy with this. I’d definitely like to do more Jooster stitchery eventually (though in a cuter and less “realistic” style). :D

Date: 2009-08-18 04:41 am (UTC)It's a garden pattern, about 8.5 by 11 inches, with flowers and vegetables and ivy growing around it. It's actually quite pretty and you get to use a lot of colors, but I'm easily bored with patterns. I feel like I can't very them - I don't know why. I don't think the cross-stitch police are going to come after me for it. It's about 2/3rds done and will probably stay that way.
