First, I know that I've been quiet in the community, and I apologize.. I've just been a bit bust doing other things. I'm back now, though.

Secondly, I recently went on a trip to Oregon. My aunt lives there, and the first thing I noticed upon walking into her house...

was that she had an epic collection of cow stuff. So I was just looking through it, and imagine my immense joy upon discovering that my Aunt Melody owned not one, but two cow creamers. I pointed it out to my mother, who must have said something to Aunt Melody, because the second day, she presented me with one of her cow creamers.

I was delighted, but the gift brought up an issue. What to name my cow creamer? I have to choose something from the world of Jeeves and Wooster, but I simply can't decide. All I know is that I can't name him/her Gussie, because I'm saving that name.

I was considering calling it Aunt Agatha, solely because I could say " Aunt Agatha, you're an old cow" and feel none the worse, haha.

Of course, the creamer does sort of look like a Bertram...

What do you think? I'd love some suggestions of some names from the series that I could use, because I know there's a shillion that I'm not thinking of.

Thanks!

Now, I'm off to look through the posts I've missed.....

Dang, that does look like a Bertram. I like Agatha, though.

Or Lady Florence. Such a pompous title attached to a silly creamer. ^^

Now the ultimate comparison:

Bertie as Herbert, Jeeves as Lancelot.

You are permitted to guffaw now.

If I recall correctly, Aunt Dahlia was the one who wanted it for Tom, so I suggest either Dahlia or Tom.

That is so cool! I think "Bertram" is nice.

I like Aunt Agatha or Aunt Dahlia for its name - although Agatha was most often the one who acted like 'an old cow'.
Since it's a creamer... um... would I be being too much of a stick-in-the-mud to say it ought to have a female name? Or is that just asking for trouble? o0

Oh my goodness! Thats wonderful! I agree with you, I think he definatley looks like a Bertram:) But I also think, Dahlia or Tom would do. I just think it's wonderful that there really are cow creamers in the world; it makes me smile!

It's kinda bulky-looking. Maybe it's a Spode or a Cheesewright.

I think it's much sweeter than an Agatha, so I vote for Dahlia, too. :)

It looks like quite a cheerful cow - I vote for Dahlia too.
