Hello, people! I just joined this community. I'm new to LJ and this wonderful community, so I'm bit nervous right now, but I think this is a great place to ask this question..

I'm going to write a school essay on Jeeves and Wooster series and I want to do some kind of character analysis. I'm going to compare and contrast Jeeves and Wooster (their personality, language, status, etc.) and see how P.G. Wodehouse used one character to kinda make fun of the other character and his class. (I really love both of them, though. I think they really look good with each other *blush*)

Can you recommend any Jeeves and Wooster stories that are good for comparing these two characters? I've read some of the stories, but not all yet. (I will soon) I don't care how many stories, long or short, you recommend. So please recommand any Jeeves and Wooster stories that you think it's good for comparing two main characters. I have the Omnibus, so you can tell me anything!

Many thanks. I'll see you around :)

By the way, I love this community! I've never imagined there was real Jeeves and Wooster slashy community!!

i would just recommend that you read several short j&w stories. maybe some other members can tell you particular passages that'd be useful, but i can't recall any off the top of my head and i think you'd do a better job just getting a feel for the characters and how they act. jeeves and bertie do not change very much from episode to episode, so there's no one story that provides any kind of 'key' to each character. many of the stories are quite short and as you've probably figured out, very painless and funny. easy reading. :)
