The Guardian has a short interview with Neil Gaiman on technology, here. It includes this little gem, which made me giggle rather a lot.

Robot butlers – a good idea or not?

Only when they can shimmer in, like Jeeves. And persuade me to stop learning the banjo or shave off unlikely facial hair by rescuing Gussie Fink-Nottle from predatory lady novelists and the like, as real butlers do, will robot butlers be permitted to butle in my world.

Should I feel relieved I wasn't the only one having to stop myself from getting all huffy except not REALLY about that? :'D
In any case, all things considered this can be looked over, I think. >3>;

But really, a butler should also be able to do those things. If he can't shimmer or materialize, he clearly needs more training.
