Just a quick word of fandom-love. I've had my internet out for a week now, and I've been pining for some Joosterfic-- and now I return and have not been failed!

Joining a gym so I can watch House on the treadmill was just not enough! I adore you guys!

Hey, thanks for the quick note o' love-spreading. The 3 or so sentences of it actually did not cut too much into my life at all, and even if it had, I'm sure I would have been savvy enough to merely skip over it. Contributing thanks, after all, is better than contributing nothing.

Look, I appreciate on-topicness as much as the next anal retentive person, but there's no reason to slam someone who just wants to share a harmless thought. I'm not saying just fic. Discussion is awesome, contests, things that actually pertain to the community. Even stuff like 'Jeeves and Wooster in Space?' (an idea that I've been considering)

Bertie and Jeeves must have had quite a trip...they were beheaded on arrival. But don't worry, I ate both their heads and now they are together forever.

That's more someone's personal LJ stuff.

I admit though, it's gotten a bit better lately.

I think this all calls for a hug. Everything sucks during sickage, and perhaps seeing someone's community squee struck a bad chord in you. But try to see it from, I'msorrylovewhatsyername? diimmortales's point of view. S/he's having a great time, is filled to the bursting point with good cheer, and can't help but say so. That's pretty awesome, and as long as it's tagged and filed neatly (thank you, whoever tagged), it hurts no one. Heck, it might even motivate those who, like you, are hard at work on new projects.

So can we all have a well-dressed group hug, with your headless space!Bertie in tow, even?

Perhaps I could have simply kept that to myself. I did want to let the comm know how cookies fared in the mail. I know a few others have contemplated sending similar gifts to members and a quick note about their condition seemed in order. I also wanted to publicly thank sunquistadora for her thoughtfulness.

What I really enjoy about this comm is that I don't see much spam from it.

I dunno, *I* smile whenever I see someone squee over a fandom I share. And I'm sure the fic-writers were glad to hear it.

And the cookies were a gift from fan to fic-writer, we heard about the cookies earlier, and I was curious how they survived the trip.

And beheaded cookies made me giggle.
