And I really should have commented before now, but I have to say that when it comes to Jeeves and Wooster, you pretty much top my list. Your English accent is quite acceptable, you lower your voice just enough for Jeeves and don't get too high and squeaky for Bertie. And your stories are definitely some of the absolute best.

Thanks very much! Lately I've been trying to do Jeeves' voice naturally; my earlier efforts were sort of cheating since I used the sound editing software to lower his pitch. But I think I've got the hang of it now. Let me know, though, if it's no good. Lowering the pitch is a bitch, but I can do it if it's better that way.

No, no, I just listened to "Letter for Letter" last week and it was lovely.

My biggest objection to anyone reading Jeeves and Wooster is when their voice sounds painful when doing Jeeves or too squeaky when doing Wooster. You generally achieve just the right balance. I'd prefer to hear you trying to capture the tone of voice rather than the pitch.

Sorry I haven't commented earlier but it took me a while till I managed to listen to it! ^^

The sound quality is not really great but I can just about bear it. ^^ And I really enjoyed listening to it! Firstly, of course because it's one of my fav fics evah and secondly because you have a real narrator's voice. Very calm and pleasant. And your intonation is neither too much nor too less but exactly right. You don't sound like a sleeping pill and not like a rabbit on crack. All my thumbs up! (That's five. XD)

Yes, I know the sound quality is about as sophisticated as a barnyard hoe-down; I really wish I had some awesome equipment, but one must make due. Thank you for slogging through all the buzzing, fading, and inexplicable hissing.
