file availability question...

I've been reading the Psmith and Mike stories off the ebook, the files for which have been formatted by eor as HTML in order to prepare them for the ebook, among quite a number of other texts which he snagged from Project Gutenberg. 

Has anyone else used the Gutenberg files and found them difficult or bothersome to access?  Would HTML versions be easier and more convenient?  Go take a look at his question, here, and leave him a comment.

Uh, did you know about manybooks.net (http://manybooks.net), which already has most (if not all) of Project Gutenberg in various ebook formats?

I dunno, I haven't been involved in his project at all, but I do know that he went to a bunch of different sites and found that most of them were formatted incredibly badly - like, they just ran the formatting programs and never bothered to make sure they'd run correctly or clean them up/edit them. After a while he got sick of looking for descent copies and just started doing his own.

Glancing at it, I don't think it offers the format our book needs. None of them look familiar.
