So. I was studying for my philosophy exam. My professor e-mailed us all the notes, so I was looking through the notes of all the philosophers that she skipped because we just didn't have the time for.

What does this have to do with anything, you ask?

One of the philosophers we skipped over was, of all old dead people, was Spinoza. OF COURSE.

I read through the notes about him anyways and was suddenly filled with the need to write some Jooster.

So, lovingly based off community.livejournal.com/indeedsir/591933.html#cutid1<--detective_wolf's post, I wrote a drabble. It's lazy and all mistakes are mine.

Again - formatting, don't fail me now!

“I just can’t see why you put up with me, Jeeves.” Bertie said. He gently rested his hand against the cast incasing his valet’s arm.

Jeeves looked down at his young master, giving one of his smiles, the smiles that fade before they can be seen. “Well, Mr. Woo – “

“Blast!” Bertie exclaimed, recognizing the tone in Jeeves’ voice. “Don’t give me that, Jeeves. You don’t deserve all the problems I give you. I know bally well that I make your life hard..”

He let his hand fall from the cast. “I’m difficult.”

Jeeves leaned down a bit, and using his functioning hand, raised Bertie’s chin. “But all things excellent are as difficult as they are rare.”

He softly kissed his master’s lips. It only lasted a moment, but it was enough to comfort the last of the Woosters.

            “Spinoza, I presume?”

            “Indeed, sir.”

One thing that's occurred to me studying a bunch of greek chappies recently is that mostly they talk rot. Spinoza's got that one right.

Aww <3 I'm honored!

It was short but very sweet, indeed, maybe Jeeves keeps up with Bertie because it gives his life excitement. I doubt he'd get anything interesting to do if he'd be working with some old coot 8/

Still! Very nice~ Short and emotional, fics doesn't have to be long to be good!

Alt + 3 on the num pad (other numbers make different things: • ◘ ○ ♦ ♣ ♠ ☺ ☻). :)

ETA: it's not an LJ thing though, rather a general... thing.
