Anticipating some actual conversation now, the mysteries sufficiently thickened and the stillness stretched. Jeeves comes across as a bit dark, the question rings 'who's Mrs. Coote?' (and I vaguely don't like her already), and Bertie shines most brilliantly.

Part 3/15 - wasn't it '/11' previously? The more the better.

The story is moving at an excellent pace. You're not wasting time with trivialities but getting right down to business, just the way a thriller is supposed to do.

I like it. And by "like" I mean "LIKE". I think it must be spy!Jeeves. Yes, definitely him. I've been a sucker for spies for about a decade (and I'm eighteen, so that's more than a half of my life). And the idea itself. Not sure if used very often-- I'm still quite new to the fandom-- but this is just bloody brilliant (and my dad is a WWII geek, so I know what I'm talking about).

More please. really, pretty please (and seconding a request for PDF/Word version from earlier posts).

(sorry for my English, not my language)

Sorry about being Anon on your page, I don't know how it happened as I'm logged in.

Mrs Coote sounds like someone in the intelligence network, based at intelligence HQ. You did say she was a relative, but I like my theory better. :)

Leave it to Jeeves to produce a full meal and baths from nature's bounty!

I'm not really surprised at Jeeves being just a little piqued at Bertie's new self-sufficiency, as after all, Bertie's need of him is his raison d'etre, so to speak. Of course, he can always fall back on his second career as a spymaster...ahem. Anyway, I have been thinking about their nine-year separation and thinking why would they be apart for nine years? After all, that war only lasted six years.

Sorry, thinking too much again! But look how you have got me analysing and wanting to dot Is and cross Ts instead of just saying 'what a great story', LOL.

I thought the story says they've been apart for five years (at least), and together for the solid nine?

Eek, you're right - I remember now! Of course, I didn't quite read it all at once, much as I would have liked to.

I have to go out tomorrow (would have preferred the day to myself, sigh) but I will probably be booting up, logging on and looking for part 4 when I come back. :)

Parts 1 and 2?

I can't seem to find the first parts to this fic, but I love the premise and would like to read the whole story!
Thanks for any help.
