This first picture had been sitting on my harddrive since November, in various stages of completion, and I finally finished it about an hour ago.




If Jeeves’s head looks a tad smaller than Bertie’s, it's just because of the way it’s tilted.


I haven’t been drawing or painting much lately, and it’s always hard to get started again when I’m busy with other things, so to force myself to get back into it I sketched & painted a few screencaps. It’s easier than coming up with something original. ;)

Love the way Jeeves is draped over Bertie in the first one (and his hair!)
And then the two screencaps... it's the series alright, but they seem to have that touch that makes them different, that makes them yours... love them.

And yeah-original, much, much harder. My sympathies and all that. ^^

I try to get the caps to look accurate-but-different, but damn, it's hard. Either I'm too anal about detail and spend nearly an hour on something that should take 10 minutes, or I do it too fast and sloppy and the figures don't look like Stephen & Hugh.

Jeeves' ruffled hair in the first one is nice, but I think his haircut itself is to die for. Looks very vintage to me somehow.

And the painting! SF!Jeeves is so animated, I love it. And your Berties are top notch as well. There's something about the way you drew him in the first one...he's not beautiful, really, but his face has so much character.

Sometimes I really do substitute the Jeeves and Bertie in my head with your original, not-based-on-Fry & Laurie drawings. *blush*

*pictures Jeeves with a modern hairstyle* *winces* I'm glad it looks vintage. I almost never see pictures of vintage mussed hair, so I mostly have to go by imagination.

That's what I love about Hugh's face. If only it weren't so hard to capture!

Wonderful! My favourite is the first. I love the way Bertie is looking back at Jeeves. I love Jeeves' kiss to Bertie's neck and his hand on Bertie's shoulder. Bertie sipping tea is great, and the third shows one of my favourite scenes, too. Thank you!
