I have a question for some of you lovely Jooster fans. [:

At what point did you realize, "WOW. I really AM a huge Jooster fanboy/girl?"

I know I've gone fannish when I swear up and down that I will *not* be writing fanfic...and then I find myself writing a fic anyway. And then I tell myself that it was an aberration, one little fic, just one, and that's it for me...and then I find myself 40,000 words into a second one.

Probably when I went crazy in the thrift store and ended up with a tailcoat, waistcoat, pinstriped trousers, etc etc...
Or when I started saying 'rot' at least 65 times a day.
Or when I pinned that postcard photo of the two young blots on their way to Eton on my wall.

So many moments to choose from. :)

Maybe when I first used "bally" or shortened a word to its first letter during a conversation without even noticing.

Or when I was doodling during class, not really thinking about what I was drawing, then I looked down and had a page full o' Jeeves.

When I was first watching them and realized how bitchy Jeeves was. :D

Actually, there was a moment late in the (tv) series when I reaized exactly what would happen, and then watched it happen just so. I reaized then that I was in deep.

There are few moments when I have thought I am a fangirl a bit out of control (not that I mind)...

I watched the clips from 'Love Boat' at youtube in which Jeremy Brett plays a valet to a crew member and couldn't stop picturing them together. So cute, really.
Another time was last week when I spotted the word 'bind' in the material I had to study for an exam, associated that to Jooster (don't ask why...) and got actually full points from the question which asked something about that thingummy and it was chemistry exam...

Why I'm Such A Fanboy

Eh, a re-post of my comment on youtube:

The moment I What-ho'd a co-worker...that clinched it for me.

And let me tell you, I got the strangest looks....even more strange then usual..heh..

When I found myself considering what Jeeves would think about a certain outfit I'd just bought (camel pants, tan and brown plaid vest, plain brown vest over that, white shirt, silver cuff links, floral tie, and camel hat - really, not anywhere near as bad as it sounds. Quite dapper, if you ask me, and I'm sure Bertie would approve.) knowing that Jeeves would not approve, and thinking something along the lines of "ha ha, we'll see what he has to say about this! Sometimes one has to be bold and move the fashion forward, what?"
Alternately, when I was in a fashion history class listening to a lecture on men's formal clothing and figuring one section of it in terms of what Bertie would want to wear, what Jeeves would want Bertie to wear, and what Jeeves would wear.

P.S. Your Bertie face is adorable!

When I almost cried reading Right Ho, Jeeves and decided to write a resolution to the book.

It was this community that opened my eyes. I always liked PG's stories, but especially J&W, but I didn't start reading them again until I stumbled on fan fiction by accident. Then I was hooked.
