Well, it says: "The relationship ended... when his show went into syndication"... *G*

(which I believe means, either when it gets picked up by a TV network (already happened), or when it goes into re-runs, on independent stations)

Aha; I see. This is obviously some use of the word 'syndication' that occurs frequently in day-to-day language in America, but which we don't tend to use.
