Looks like nobody's mentioned this yet:

The Code of the Woosters being serialized on the BBC website.

It doesn't say whether it's a reading of the story or an actual dramatization (and the first episode won't be available until tomorrow), but either one is sure to be good. And you don't have to be in Britain to listen.

Check it out! (And share it with your friends!)

I want to listen but I suck at translating timezones...

I understood that it can be downloaded after airing but only in UK? It's airing now but my computer has gone mute. So if someone could download and share it after that?

Oh, it would be lovely if it could be downloaded. I have a long plane ride ahead of me in the near-ish future, so I've been poking about for audiobooks to sort of soften the journey. I've found a few Wodehouse stories, but Code of the Woosters is a definite favorite.

I've found them from few book shops but they cost far too much for my liking. Though I think they'd be quite enjoyable to listen to. (I've listened much Holmes-audiobooks and especially dramatized ones are so wonderful.

Oh no! That's unfortunate; I was lucky enough to find some of the Jeeves stories in my public library. But I hadn't thought of the Holmes stories, that's a wonderful idea-- thanks!
