Hello!

I have been lurking for a few weeks. 

Happiness is mine.

All of you are so creative!

I would like to thank every artist of image or word and every one of you who post the just because sort of things.

I am not able to produce art of any sort of value....even my stick figures are questionable.  I am a wordsmith, however I'm not sure I'm comfortable trying to write in a Wodehouse universe because I might damage it!

I'll just absorb everything and then my spongy goodness can be squeezed for golden drops of appreciation.

I'm such a retarded fanboy, lol.

Aw, you won't damage it. It's a tough old bird. (I didn't do it any lasting harm, and I play pretty rough with my toys.)

If the inspiration strikes you, write it! Believe me, if 80 years and a crapton of fic haven't ruined it, or even begun to damage it, it can't be damaged unless you *try* to damage it.

If not, well, welcome anyway, and enjoy your time soaking things up like an extra absorbent absorbing sponge. (Or a ShamWow!)

Absorption is pretty much what I do here, too. That and write people gushy reviews. I often mean to produce something in return, but my self-consciousness gets the better of me.

I think you should write if you've a mind to. If you want feedback there's usually people here willing and able to help people improve their writing, and if you don't, I hope you won't go away in a snit if people offer such, because we tend to assume that everyone wants to get better or they wouldn't be studying at the feet of the Master.

Sorry, no offense meant! I have no verbal filter so if I do say something that offends please let me know. Oddly enough, I used to be the kind of person who would have been offended at something like that, lol.

I honestly find it difficult to be p.c. or to view certain words as being taboo because in the end I think its all about the intention and not what was said. On the other hand I understand that words can slowly and surely desensitize people and make them apathetic or even abusive. But again, like I said, I lack a verbal filter so please do keep me in line.

And um....your icon...I heart it. Legend of Zelda anything is a secret passion of mine. Sweet!

FANBOY! YAY ^^ I'm so glad you're in here; I've been involved in various fandoms for eight years now and I know about, what... four fanboys? Five, now, including you! We fangirls desperately need the input of the Y chromosome XD

And isn't this just an amazing fandom?? I've just known about its existence for a month or two, and I'm already deeply in love :)

It sounds as though you are endeavoring to collect fanboys; by all means count me in.

I will be the first to admit that my input can sometimes be a bit less than perfect, and often it will come off as terrifyingly shrill. I'll attempt to provide Y chromosomal input though I may have to dig rather deep for it...*wince*

I agree that this fandom is quite enjoyable; I find it easy to lose myself in hours of art and fiction. I'm spoiled by the gracious greeting you have all given me.
